Clinical Pilates incorporates the techniques & philosophies of traditional Pilates into the management of physical injuries & muscle imbalances. It is very much individualised to the client. Clinical Pilates sessions are initially conducted one-on-one between the patient and practitioner, ensuring that the exercises are appropriate & prescribed at a suitable level. This method is useful for anyone who is recovering from an injury, who wants a stronger 'core', postural correction, or who requires control of muscle imbalances. At our practice, we integrate Clinical Pilates into the treatment of many of our patients. Once the basics are taught, and recovery is well under way, we can recommend places in the local area where classes are conducted. Unfortunately we are no longer conducting Pilates classes at Concord Sport & Spine.

Post-natal Pilates is useful for mothers suffering back pain, or who need help to regain that elusive core.

Regular Pilates is available for those who aren't injured, but wish to develop their core, to move better, and improve strength, posture and flexibility.

Falls Prevention for the Elderly: to reduce falls risk with balance and strength training, using techniques developed through reszearch.

Strengthening & Fitness: for those who wish to work on general strength & aerobic capacity, in a safe clinical environment.

Schedule online. It's easy, fast and secure.
